1. Key Responsibilities & Structural Engineering Operations
As a Senior Civil Structural Engineer, your core responsibilities will focus on high-level design modeling, technical review, and structural safety verification:
- Perform comprehensive structural calculations, finite element analysis (FEA), and design for reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundation systems, and retaining structures.
- Review and approve structural engineering deliverables, including design drawings, calculation sheets, material submittals, and construction method statements.
- Provide expert technical problem-solving and engineering solutions for complex site execution challenges and design modifications.
- Coordinate directly with project managers, client representatives, architectural teams, and MEP engineers to ensure interdisciplinary design alignment.
- Ensure structural designs strictly comply with international codes (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes) and Qatari technical building codes (QCS).
